Tsui Ping Yee

Tsui Ping Yee, 98, of Midland, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 7, 2015. Ping Yee was born in Kwongton, China on August 14, 1917 and immigrated to Midland in 1968 with her family. Ping's husband, Richard A. Yee, was one of the founders of the Blue Star Inn restaurant, which opened in 1952 and closed in 2010. Ping is preceded in death by Mr. Yee. Ping is survived by her son, Allan Yee, and his spouse Jeanie; granddaughter Linda Yee Villa and her spouse Joe Villa and their child Noah; granddaughter Helen Yee; and granddaughter Debbie Yee and her spouse Chris Wood. Ping is also survived by daughter Betty Gee and her spouse Ronny Gee; grandson Timothy Gee and his spouse Lisa Gee and their children Nicholas and Matthew. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 11, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Ellis Funeral Home. The graveside funeral service will be held at Resthaven Memorial Park on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to Ronny Gee at 3707 W.
