Their isnt a day that goes by that i dont think about tyler and all the fun we had when we were kids.. Thank you for the gift of a great friend Mr and Mrs Grandfield.. Tyler was like a brother to me.. Miss you and RIP tyler

We were so overwhelmed with sadness when we heard what had happened to Tyler, it was so unbelievable. Tyler and his crew had been just been at our house cutting down trees that very same week. I remember Tom coming home the next day after he had stopped to see Tyler at his home… he told me about Tyler's beautiful dog Chipper and the cutest little white dog that he had just seen there. Tom said, that he had asked Tyler, “Whose little white dog is that…?”, and very jokingly, Tyler replied, “That's my “old” lady's dog”, Tom's response, “What do mean by “old”…?!”, Tyler chuckled “Yeah, I guess your right…!”, they both laughed hysterically. Everyone knew what a remarkable and hard working young man Tyler was and how much he was loved and respected by his family, friends and the community in which he lived. He will be sadly missed. Passing by Tyler's house everyday, I am constantly reminded what a precious gift life is and how easily it can be taken away from us…we should always live life to it's fullest, holding it close and never taking any of it for granted. A peaceful thought would be to know that Tyler is still doing what he loved to do best…he is the gentle wind blowing through the trees. Our thoughts and prayers are with Tyler's family, friends, and his girlfriend Tara, dogs Chipper and Camo. May your memories and love of Tyler bring you peace and comfort in this time of sadness. Always remembering, that we are all just a heart beat away….

I would like to offer my condolences on the tragic loss of your son, Tyler. My thoughts also are with his girlfriend, Tara.

I never had the pleasure in meeting Tyler. I am an old friend of Peggy
Granfield, Jim's wife, who told me about your horrific loss.

Chris, you and I sat at the same table at Donna Phillips retirement party at the Bistro, and Kerry, my dad, Don Nihill, who passed away in 1991 had you take down a ton of trees on his open side lot years ago,which he caught on tape in it's entirety.

I lost my younger brother, Chris, in 1985 to a car accident. He was 28 years old, just like your Tyler. We all thought we would never stop hurting; didn't know how we would ever get over the pain we felt everyday. Please believe me it will take time for healing. Please take care of yourselves and remember every day that you had a wonderful son that was loved and respected by all as shown in this guest book.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. I cannot put into words all that I am feeling for you right now,but somehow I think you know.

I met Tyler a few years back, i needed help with a tree limb that had broken off and was hanging, he actually came off the lake while boating to take a look, he came back on Sunday morning to take care of the job,I was very impressed by his integrity and work ethic.Heaven has indeed received one special Angel in Tyler!!
