In Loving Memory of Tyler James Lee Hammack

Tyler James Lee Hammack of Howell, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on April 11th, 2024. Survived by his parents Michael and Andrea Hammack, his children Emma and Eli Hammack, and their mother Katie, Tyler leaves behind a family and community deeply saddened by his loss. He is also survived by his siblings Ryan, Christopher, Stephen (Micquela), and Justin (Autumn), as well as his nieces and nephews; Bella, Tavin, Norman, Carter, Oliver, Amara, Charlotte, Clark, and Lucas.

Tyler had a passion for music and sports, excelling in rapping, writing, recording, drumming, football, and basketball. He touched the lives of many with his compassion, empathy, and desire for everyone to be treated with dignity. Despite his internal struggles, his children were his greatest joy, and he held big dreams for their future. Every time life knocked him down, Tyler resiliently got back up to continue to provide.

Services will be held at Hidden Springs Church, 5860 N Latson Rd, Howell, MI 48855, on April 21st, with visitation from 2 pm to 3:30 pm, followed by a service at 3:30 pm and a reception at 5 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations are being collected to establish a trust fund for Emma and Eli.

I will always remember with a smile the day toddler Tyler walked across the top of my newly purchased Ovation guitar.
Mike and I were at my apartment working on a song for church. He was babysitting Tyler.
We looked up from what we were doing, and there was Tyler walking across my guitar like it was the the Mackinaw Bridge!
No damage done, though

i have this memory that is very blurry but i was having a sleepover at bapa and nanas and we snuck into the kitchen and made those puddle pretzels that you have to heat up and sprinkle the salt on them. yeah. now whenever i eat them, i think of him <3

i remember when i was little Issac and i used to chase him around every family occasion where were all together. he used to hold us away from him by putting his hand on our foreheads as we squirmed and tried to get to him.
