Our daughter Shelby went to EHS with Tyler and he was such a great friend to her and all who knew him in their friend circle.
This comes with such sadness from her heart and ours being fellow Eagan neighbors.

Tyler and I were paired together through Augsburg College's roommate questionnaire. Leaving home, gaining adult responsibilities, and moving into a strange place, I was nervous. Anyone would be. Although we were only roommates for one year, Tyler and I got along quite well. I remember exploring what it meant to be young adults for the first time, staying up too late talking philosophy, games, or studying. Our room was a safe retreat for me when life got overwhelming, and this was largely thanks to his welcoming, accepting, and friendly demeanor. He stood by me through a very difficult period of my life, and I will remain forever grateful for it. He was a dear friend, and will be sorely missed.

Tyler for a kind friend to both of my kids, and I so appreciated him. My condolences for your loss. Can you please provide your address so I can send funds for your physical memorial?

Tyler was a friend of my brother Tracer and was my FAVORITE person to have at our house when I was growing up. He was always so nice about letting me tag along with him and my brother. He really felt like a part of our family, too. We are heartbroken to hear about his passing, and we are thinking of you all.
