Tyler Matthew NEWMAN

Of Lilydale Passed away unexpectedly on November 17, 2022. He was thirty years old. Our family is devastated and shocked by his loss. Tyler was born on October 1, 1992 in St. Paul to Debra and Michael Newman. Tyler attended Eagan High School and then graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with a political science degree. Most recently, he worked as a correctional counselor at Portland House in Minneapolis. Tyler had a passion for journalism and photography, books and movies, and trying new and exotic foods. He was a very thoughtful person who will be remembered by the many who loved him for the small acts of kindness he did to make those around him feel special. He is survived by his parents Debra and Michael, brother Zachary (Danielle), sister Sarah (Ryan) Underdahl, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He will also be missed by the family pets Charlie, Mia and Duke. He is greeted in heaven by his grandpa Andy, grandpa Bob, grandma Helen and grandma Pat. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the family for the purpose of a physical memorial in honor of Tyler. Funeral arrangements are being made by Simple Traditions by Bradshaw. 651-767-9333
