Tyler Stanger Obituary

Stanger, 26, of Rialto, CA died Wednesday, October 11, 2006 in New York Ci ty, NY. He was born April 25, 1980 in Ogden, UT. He is survived by his daughter, Ashlund, and wife, Stephanie (Andrade) Stanger, who is expecting their second child. He is survived also by his parents, Thayne and Victoria of Walnut, brothers; Brandon of Layton, UT, Cameron of Salt Lake City, UT, and Cody of Walnut, and his sisters; Khali Kemple of Las Vegas, NV, and Ariann Stevenson of Salt Lake City, UT. Tyler was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and in 2001 successfully co mpleted his mission in Portland, OR. He earned Eagle Scout Rank at 16 years of age in Walnut, CA. For two years, he served as leader of the 11-year old Boy Scouts'Troop 703 in Diamond Bar. He was a private charter pilot, special avionics and flight instructor, an avid water and snow skier, and talented pianist. A memorial fund has been established for Stanger's family. Children's books or donations are being accepted: Tyler Stanger Memorial, c/o Pacific Western Bank, 4012 Grand Ave., Suite A, Chino, CA 91710, 909-517-1729. Services will be held Saturday, October 21, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Rose Hills Memorial Park Skyrose Chapel in Whittier, CA. Friends have set up a website as a tribute to Tyler: www.stangers.us

To the Stanger Family:
Jason and I would like to express our greatest appreciation to all of you! The services for Tyler were absolutely amazing! We've never been to a service as lovely as his and what a warm feeling it left in our hearts! The saddness will be there always, but the closure we received from his loving family & friends is beyond what words could describe! You are an amazing family and it is so easy to see why Tyler was the magnificant man he was! :)

To Victoria and Thayne, I am sure you do not remember me or the family care medical offices in San Dimas seems so long ago. But I remember victoria and the little ones, especially Tyler. We always remarked what a fine young man he was growing up to be, but then all the Stanger kids were great. All I can say is that my heart..my prayers go out to you...God now has another Angel added to his flock...God Bless you all.
