I was attending at the funeral of our neighbor around the corner, Tyrone. What wonderful tributes I heard there, which taught me many good things. I didn't have any occasion to know Tyrone or Ashley personally, but felt a connection because our family has enjoyed watching you work and play with your little family together as we pass by going to and from school at Olympus High. We noticed especially the smiles on your faces and the face of Tyrone as you work and play in the yard. You haven't known us, but we are part of a neighborhood that really cares about you. We want you and your children to know and feel that. We extend our love, and are sure that there are many living around you who feel deeply about your loss as we do. Our prayers are for you as you get through this difficult time.

Love, the Marshall Family

My deepest sympathies go out to Tyrone's family. I have known him for close to 20 years. I went to high school with him, and played a lot of soccer togethor. For a bigger guy it always amazed me how quick on his feet he was, people would'nt see him coming. Even though our friendship has strayed over the last several years I still think of him often. We had many good times togethor, and shared many laughs. I will miss him very much.

Dear Tyrone,
My heart is heavy with the news of your passing. I can still see you and I at Golf in the Round in the middle of January, banging balls off the cars they placed as targets, and searching for a better golf swing. I can still see you at the door of my office at ACS, asking everyday after my knee surgery if I could hit balls yet. Our St George winter golf trip just the two of us...the long nights we spent at work laughing our way through the stress...the trials we faced...the triumphs we shared...the time you spent with my family down here in Mesa in '01...and the kindness and gentleness you showed with my children. All these are sweet recollections in my heart. Rest in Peace my old friend.

Love,
Mike

To Ashley,
My contact with Tyrone has been scarce in the past 5 years, but just after you two were married, Tyrone told me that you the greatest thing that had ever happened in his life, and that he wanted to have a family of children larger than mine. (I have 4) I know he loves you very much. May you be blessed by that love even now.

My memories of Tyrone start quite young (early elementary). He was in my cub scout pack, he came to my birthday parties and was always a joy to be around--excited for everyone to have a good time. He certainly was a jokester in school. We played little-league football together. My contact with him ends after that point, but I have many times since, and will always remember him as a very sincere, sensitive, and giving (of himself) person.

I have really been touched as I have read some of these entries--feeling inside: "Yes, that is how I remember him too".

I haven't seen Tyrone since elementary school but he left sch a lasting impression that I still remember him. He was always making people smile, lighting up the room when he entered. I am so sorry for your loss, he will be greatly missed. Just take comfort in that you will see him again.

This world was very lucky to have had this fine gentleman in it, even if it was for only a brief time. I do not recall knowing a more likable person than Tyrone. He never failed to bring a smile and happiness to anyone he was around. I lost touch with him over the last few years, as he matured and became a father and husband, But the memories of the time I spent with him will be with me all my life.
I have lost someone before and know that those memories fade faster than we would like, but just remembering his face, brings me a smile.
I hope his children, wife, and family are doing ok, I know that this is not an easy thing to go through. Just try and remember the good memories and he will always be with us in our hearts.

I have not seen Tyrone for years and only knew him through High School. I do think of his sense of humor often and have certainly shared many stories of Tyrone to my own children. There are few people that have ever made me laugh like Tyrone.

My heart goes out to you and your children and please know that you are in our prayers.

Tyrone,

I will remember your laugh for as long as I keep laughing in my life. It was so contagious that no matter what I was feeling, your laugh cheered me up and made me feel better. It had been a while since I last saw you, but your memory will live on in so many peoples' hearts and minds.

I send my regards to your family.

Tyrone,

You will be missed more than you know. You are a great father, friend and teacher.

The impact you had on others was huge and the impact you had on me will forever be remembered and will always remain a part of me. I know you are at peace now and will be watching over those you love.
You cried when Melia kicked her first goal in soccer and I know you will still be able to see and cry when Noah does the same.

Thank you for being who you are and more importantly for being my friend and my brother.
