Tyson K. Peterson, 17, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2011, in Provo, Utah. He was born November 23, 1993, to Katherine Hill Peterson and Kyle Peterson. He loved soccer, football, and playing guitar. He graduated from Landmark High School and was planning to attend UVU to study computer science. Tyson had many friends and enjoyed the time he spent with them. He loved his family and will truly be missed! He is survived by his parents, Kyle (Rebecca) Peterson, and Katie (Justin) Peterson; his step-siblings: Brittney, Ryan, Zachary, Trevor, Robert, Wyatt, and ShayLee. He is also survived by his grandparents, Phyllis (Gary) Golden; Jay and Maudie Hill; Everett and Alene Bryant; Linda Peterson; his great grandparents; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his step-brother, Jordan; two grandparents, Andrew Peterson and Philip Peterson; as well as other relatives who anxiously greeted him on the other side. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Chapel located at 400 North 650 West, Spanish Fork. A visitation will be held from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be at the Salem City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tyson K. Peterson memorial fund at Zions First National Bank.
