Ursel Brown

A dear colleague of mine from years ago. I lost touch with her after she stopped working, only met her a couple of times afterwards. I am very sorry to learn about her passing.

My husband did a lot of work for her at her farm in Carleton Place, and we came to know and love her. Harry the Wonder Cat visited her often at Carleton Place Terrace, and they enjoyed each other's company very much. She was a lovely lady and we will miss her. A donation has been made in her memory to LAWS.

Ursel was a long-time member of the horse community in the Ottawa area and will be missed. She was kind and elegant, and a good horsewoman. Rest in peace, dear Ursel. It was a privilege to know you.
