We sadly announce that our beloved mother, grandmother, GG and friend, Ursula Jorra, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2015 at the age of 84 surrounded by her loving family. Ursula was born in Heessen, Germany on April 2, 1930 and married Wilhelm her husband of 67 years in 1948. In her younger years Ursula worked outside the home but ultimately became a stay-at-home mom to care for her four children. Ursula and Bill moved to BC in their retirement years where she enjoyed crocheting, sewing, knitting, fishing trips and gardening before returning to Calgary in 2010. Ursula is survived by two children, her son, Bill (Eileen), and daughter, Hedy (Harry), three cherished grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Wilhelm and two of her sons, Bob and Roy. A celebration of Ursula's life will be held at SOUTH CALGARY FUNERAL CENTRE, 12700 MacLeod Trail South (at Lake Fraser Gate), Calgary on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. Interment to take place at a later date.
