Ut Thi Duong passed away peacefully at home on December 15, 2018 at the age of 95. Ut was born in Tra Vinh, Vietnam to Tinh Van Duong and Ty Thi Le. She was the youngest of twelve children. Ut and her husband Ny Van Le (deceased 1984) were the first refugees to arrive to Orlando in 1975 during the evacuation of Saigon. She lived in Longwood with her surviving daughter, Lanh Thi and her husband, David W Zimmerman, for the remainder of her life. Ut is survived by grandchildren, Andrea Lockwood, Eric & Darren Zimmerman, great grandchildren, Lauren Le & Cassandra Jean Lockwood and Tyler Calvet, and great great grandchild, Jaelynn Calvet. Funeral Service will take place at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 994 E. Altamonte Drive (SR 436) Altamonte Springs 32701, Sunday December 23 at 9 am. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Cemetery 3329 E Semoran Blvd., Apopka.
