V. Christopher Anderson

V. Christopher Chris Anderson, 47, passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 13, 2011, in Naples, Fla. Formerly of Chatham, he was the son of Victor C. Anderson Jr. and Joan (Jordan). Chris was born in Glasgow, Mont., on May 21, 1964. He attended Morris Knolls High School in Denville, N.J. He graduated from Bridgeton Academy in Bridgeton, Maine, and attended Northeastern University. Chris enjoyed being with his family including all his aunts, uncles, and cousins, especially Matt Anderson, Jamie and Jillian Roussel. He loved spending time on the water especially in Chatham; he also enjoyed fishing and water sports. He is survived by his parents, Joan and Vic Anderson of Chatham and Naples, Fla.; sister, Bonnie and family of Chatham and Vernon Hills, Ill.; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Chriss name to Provincetown AIDS Support Group, PO Box 1522, Provincetown, MA 02657. Visiting hours are Thursday, June 23, from 5 to 8 p.m., at Nickerson Funeral Home, 87 Crowell Road, Chatham. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, June 24, at 11 a.m., at Our Lady of the Cape Catholic Church, Brewster. Burial will be private.
