After hearing of Val's passing, I could not stop remembering all the fun and friendship we had in school. I look back and think how we lost touch over the years and regret not just sending off a quick hello every once in a while. My best wishes and thoughts to all the family.

Words are insufficient to describe the depth of saddness upon learning of Val's passing. Her friendship, laughter & love of sports helped define my childhood. Her strength, humour and understanding brightened my darkest days. You will be greatly missed my friend.
