Dear Great Grandpa,
We love you and miss you already! This letter is from your two beautiful great granddaughters- Bethany (Remember I am in year 2) and Larissa who is in Year 4.
Remember when Great Nanny made a chocolate machine, she loves throwing chocolates around the room so we can catch them. At first she would call out : "Catch girls" or "OI!" and we would catch them, she knew the ones that we loved and would throw them first. After a couple of times we played this game you would say "what about me nanny?" so Great Nanny let you play with us!
You caught the chocolates and ate them with us, it was lots of fun. We loved it when you said that the chocolates were "Yummy" and sometimes we all had chocolate around our mouths. When you sucked on the chocolates we knew that we could get a few more out of Great Nanny while you weren't watching, you were too smart and quickly caught on. Oh well it was worth a try!!
We think that you didn't act your age, we remember mummy telling us that were 97 and to be careful around you in-case we tripped you over or got in your way- but grandpa you used to act like a kid like us and we loved it .Remember when we would race you down the hallway, you were always so happy and always smiling.
You loved watching us dance and sing and watching us play with our dolls. You really liked our party animals collection and yes we packed lots more outfits just for you to change when you played with them.
You loved our concerts and our puppet shows!
Great Grandpa we are going to miss seeing you when we visit Great Nanny, we know that you are in heaven with the angels.
Please don't steal the chocolates from Great Nanny, if you are good in heaven God will give you some chocolate and a box of Favourites for Christmas.
Lots of love from
Your two Great Granddaughters
Larissa and Bethany
