Valerie Noon Holmes

Scottsdale - Valerie Noon Holmes grew up in Birmingham, MI with her younger brother, Kelly, who predeceased her. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where she was President of her sorority. She received her JD from Columbia University School of Law.

Valerie practiced corporate and international law at several multinational corporations including Chase Manhattan Bank in NYC and Holiday Inn International in Brussels, Belgium. She moved to the Phoenix area in the 1990s and worked at Fennemore Craig before going into private consulting.

She was the devoted wife of James (Jim) Holmes, who survives her. Her prior two marriages ended in divorce. She is survived by her mother, Brooke, her stepmother, Lois Harmon Noon, and a half- brother, Curtis Noon.

Valerie was a talented, brilliant and beautiful woman, courageous and resilient in the face of many setbacks and challenges in her life. She will be fondly remembered by those who knew her.
