Dear Valerie and Family,

I was at West Hill with both you and Vanessa and I am so very sorry to hear of Vanessa's passing. I had run into her off and on in the years since High School and she was unfailingly friendly, kind, and just a wonderful person to know. Please accept my sincerest wishes that your faith in God will uphold you and ease the pain you feel today.

Dear Val and family,

Vanessa was in my homeroom for two years at Turn of River Junior High, some 35 years ago. Even though I didn't see her much at Westhill and left Stamford after high school, I still remember her as a sweet, friendly, and encouraging person. I think she would have been surprised to know that I have such fond memories of her, and it goes to show how kindness and sincerity make a lasting impression on people you think don't really notice. I am truly sorry for your loss, and hope that the love of your family and friends gives you strength and comfort during this time. With love from Nancy Danoff, Westhill Class of 1975.

To the Grant family, just the other day, I was saying to Angie, I want to come over and see Vanessa, let me know when it's a good time. I never got that time,so I never got the chance, but I will still remember her in my heart. Just wanted to let you know that God's love does not keep us from trails but sees us through them. Because of christ's empty tomb we can be full of hope. And in every desert of trial, God has an oasis of comfort.

Keep the faith, Keep holding on.
