Deanna and Brittany, I pray for you both daily, and as I said before, if you need anything, I'm here. Please continue to make your mother proud and remember all the values and the wisdom that she instilled in and shared with you both.
Ms. Vanessa was one of the most beautiful (both outside and in) women I've ever known...I am so grateful to have been able to spend time with her and I miss her very much. I am thankful for her love, kind and challenging words, not to mention the support she showed me; especially when others didn't. Vanessa was a rare and precious jewel that I was blessed to come across. I'll never forget our talks and laughs shared. Dedicating every show and every win to you Vanessa!
Love you still & miss you very much.

Vanessa was one of the most honest, sharing, caring and most of all LOVING persons on earth. She demonstrated unwaivering faith that God's will would be done to her satisfaction. I was blessed to have her in my life and have wonderful memories of the times that we spent together. Our family/friends trip to Williamsburg won't be the same this year without Nessa who is now haviing a blessed time in the presence of JESUS. Deanna and Brittany, carry on your wonderful Mother's legacy and live your years as GODLY women. Love to all of the family. Dee

Vanessa was one the first people I met 19 months ago when my cancer returned & I had to go back on chemo..I was very depressed & remember saying to her that I just didn't think I could do this for 9 years like she had been..She took my hand & looked me in the eyes & said "You will if you want to live"...That day she taught me to fight, to have faith & for that she will always hold a very special place in my heart..Her beautiful smile will be deeply missed by The Wednesday Girls but her spirit will surround us as we continue our journey & battle this thing called Breast Cancer...
I feel very blessed to call her Friend...

I didn't know Vanessa very long and only in a customer service interaction. I was employed at Greenbrier Lighting when I ment her and she was the sweetest person, I always enjoyed when she came in to search for her lighting for her home she was remodeling. She was always a pleasure to talk with. I konw she is with the Lord and smiling down on her family.

Cuz, you will surely be missed. You were a very brave person who kept this terrible disease at bay for a very long time. Well, you are at peace now. I know you and Aunt Clara are smiling and laughing again. Deanna and Brittany, I'm sorry that your mom is no longer with you, but take comfort in knowing that she is in your hearts and minds forever. Love You, Jan

To Deanna and Brittany, you both know that our family loved your Mother dearly. We were more than just neighbors but good friends too. You two were indeed the best daughters a Mother could have and she was always extermely proud of you both. Follow her lead as a Christian woman and honor God in all that you do. I will miss her here but know that I will see her when I get to Heaven. Love Brenda, William, Zack & Dorothy Scott.

I heard her laughter,
I saw her tears,
I witnessed her pain,
I saw her peace and joy being her strength,
I saw her enemy try to attack her,
I saw her faith arise and her enemies were scattered,
I saw the love she had for all humanity, and her faithfulness in studying the Word of God and in His service.
She won the victory in this battle.
She is resting and enjoying the presence of the Lord.
Your sister in the Spirit,
Francyne Spivey
