We are so sorry to hear about your mother's death. She was a special lady! Jim & Mary Sue Mardis, Columbus, GA

Vera was such a joy in my life, her smile was always present, she had a ear that was just for listening to you. Loved shopping with her and going to Peppers restaurant in Muscle Shoals, she loved their Carrot cake with coffee., she would let me buy her things from time to time, always made me feel good.. I know she is in Heaven and is her jolly self. I Will miss her hugs, her smiles, and not be able to kiss her forhead, but I will have her in my heart for as long as I live.

Vera was a Special lady and a true friend, she will be missed.

Well, I guess Daddy and Vera and Elsie are all arguing about who is the best looking right about now. They all loved to pick at each other; one of my favorite childhood memories.

Ms. Vera lived next door to my Grandmother as Montreat. She was always so sweet to talk to when I would visit. Prayers for the Gamble family.
