Thank you Professor Roberts for your contribution to a world needing a hero, and that hero has captured the hearts of thousands for fifty years and will continue to do so another fifty. You are honored as a heroine in the hearts of many who will never forget him, nor Christopher, nor you. Rest in Peace with your "boys." "I can't believe you are gone now, you were here just a minute ago."

A giant of the theater world is now gone, but remembered always. As a college freshman, I read "Principles of Theater Arts" over thirty years ago and it still holds an honored place in my library. Thank you Professor Roberts, for your contributions to theater history at Hunter College and elsewhere, for helping to launch the renowned Arena Stage in Washington, D.C., and finally for supporting and encouraging a young actor whose flame burned brightly on numerous theater stages and on the small screen in countless living rooms around the globe these last fifty years.
