Jody, Ginger and families,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I grew up 5 houses from you on East State Street back when we were really young and I knew most of you and I always thought your parents were very nice people. My heart goes out to all of you as I have lost both of my parents and it is so very heartbreaking. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. With sincere sympathy,

Jody, Ginger and families, My heart goes out to all of you for the loss of your father. I grew up on East State Street (5 houses from you) and used to play with Jody and Ginger, but I knew some of the rest of you and I always thought your parents were very nice people. I feel so bad for you all as I have lost both of my parents and it's so heartbreaking. I want you to know that I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. With sincere sympathy,

Heather Hartema

So sorry to hear about Vern's passing, I got to know him when I worked at Burke's in Mason City and he was such a good man. He kept insisting on buying diapers for my twins after they were born! He will be sadly missed by many.
