Verna Ann Gates

My sweet and best friend Verna, I can't believe its been that long since you left us. Verna was a great friend that I worked with and car pooled every day at FNBC. I truly miss our daily laughs and my ride in with Mrs. Heidi and our mini vacations with Angela. Love and miss you.

Life is such a vapor. Verna was such a nice lady. Worked with her at Hibernia and Capital One. So glad I was able to see her when she came to Houston a couple of years ago. Praying for the family.

My deepest sympathies. Verna was a special person, she could always make you laugh. I worked with her for a short time and became good friends. I will truly miss her.

Verna was a sweetheart. I often think of all the fun times we had on Wingate,Morgus,Doberge,Magazine maniac drives and laughs until we cried. She will be missed. you take care. Deep breaths.

I'm very sorry to hear that Verna has passed away. She and I went all through school together, and I considered her one of my best friends. In the years since then we lost touch, but I have always thought of her with great fondness.
