VERNA R. GRAY

Verna was one of my mother's best friends. My mother was Velma Seiler Collier Gilbert, who passed away in 2011. I remember her talking about Verna and Lester Gray, and they stayed in contact for years, even after my mother and father (Robert E. Gilbert, Sr.) moved from Pennsylvania to Springfield, MO. I even have a niece who was named after her. As I was recently going through and organizing old photos, I came across a couple of pictures with Verna and Les...photos my mom hung on to as memories from her earlier day. That's when I decided to look up some of these friends and family. It makes me feel connected. I miss my mom and dad as I am sure the family of Verna and Les miss them. May you have fond memories as well.
