Verna Alma VOTH

Our condolences to Verna's family. She was a good neighbour with a fine sense of humour. We enjoyed joining her and your dad, [granddad] at Hymn Sings in Hepburn. You will miss her but she is enjoying the joys of heaven where she is now a permanent resident. Our love to all of you.

My sympathy to Verna's family. I knew her when she and Cornie came to the Older Adult Wellness Clinic every month in Hepburn where I was the nurse. Such a lovely couple! I recall Verna's little comment that she always made about out the weather "It is a good thing that the Lord is the one to look after the weather and not one of us!" and then she would have a little giggle at her joke. I am sure she will be missed.
