I'm so sorry for your loss. I just found out yesterday and it was quit a shock. Their are no words to ease your pain, I went through this 33 years ago and I know how devastating this can be. I am so sorry to the family of Veronica. I never knew you, but she spoke of you often. I was her neighbor at Steeplechase Apartments for almost 2 yrs and have had many conversations and loving memories with Vernonica. She was a very sweet and caring girl who I will miss. She spoke of her family often and even the Basset Hound her sister (I believe) had too!! She loved my basset hound mix, Morrison, and compared him to her sister's often. In fact, when we come upstairs to our apartment he tries to go to hers first! My boyfriend and I spent a lot of time with her, since she was our friendly neighbor! She had a very kind heart and would do anything to help her friends anytime they needed her!! From how I knew her, she seemed to live to help and give to people. In addition, she was always smiling and laughing. I saw her almost every day and must say she was always beyond friendly and kind to everyone she encountered. She would shout out from the balcony everyday I came home to say "hello." I just wanted her family to know that I saw her almost everyday and she always displayed a warm, kind spirit to us!!! We were so sad to lose her as a neighbor but were still hoping to keep in touch. Again, I'm so sorry for your loss and hope this helps in some way to let you know that she touched many peoples lives in more ways than one.
