18 years later and it's still hard for me to wrap my head around the fact that you are really gone took 10 years before I could work up the courage to come see you at the cemetery with your sister and it was one of the greatest things I could have done and now I'm able to smile and to laugh even if I cry I miss you so much and I hope u are proud of me I named my youngest child in memory of you because I never ever want you to be forgotten I love you and I miss you so much sis continue to smile down on myself and my children as well as the many others I can go on and on but I will save it for when I come visit you with the newest edition she's walking now so I know she will be fine until we meet again I love you ps your nephew will be 18 this year and you will be glad to know he is everything the other ppl aren't so is your beautiful daughter

I can't imagine the pain that you are going throught right now. To lose your parent and then a daughter would be unimaginable. You are such a strong person making it through these tough times, I wish i was as strong as you are sometimes,You give me encouragment that i'm not the only one whos in pain from a loss from someone i loved so dearly. I meet Veronica and her family when me and my family moved on 12th street (3923 east 12th Terr) a few houses down the street.She was a beautiful girl, sweet,caring, shy at first, a flower in blossom. Her passion I learned was to do hair, she would come over often to braid my infants son's hair and boyfriend at the time hair. And she gave my infant son his first dollar.To this day I still have that dollar in his baby book. I would sit and talk with Veronica whenever she needed an ear to hear her out.When I heard the news and when they said Veronica Coleman, I felt a drop in my spirit, not wanting to belive it was her who lost her life so young. And after seeing her sister and mom downtown I came to found out indeed it was the Veronica that I came to know. I was there as a neighbor to comfort her when her grandmother passed and I was there to see her in the hospital when she had Kyla, just to give her words of encouragment. I was blessed to have met such a sweet girl in my life. I will never forget Veronica. For God had a plan that was greater than what we wanted for her. She is in a better place waiting for us arrive. The Love family,our prayers are with you. Your old neighbor Nekandra,Stephon, Jourdan, Dakotah,Kristopher. We miss you Veronica.

I'am so sorry for your loss. From what I've heard about Veronica she was a very special person with a beautiful smile. I lost 3 very dear people to me in 2004, one including my mother. I know it's hard to hear people say "She's in a better place," because you know you want her here with you. God does have HIS reasons for what happens and for taking her at such a young age so you just have to TRUST HIM. I was devastated when I received the news about her death, and after a long while of pondering it I had to think about the positive side of this situation; and that is that she is in GOD's hands now and he is watching over her, as well as her daughter and the rest of her family.
