Veronica Hennessy Obituary
Beloved wife of the late Robert F. Hennessy. Devoted mother of Robert and Diane Hennessy of Williamstown NJ, Dennis and Joanne Hennessy of Dorothy NJ and Lois and Richard Townsend of Mays Landing NJ. Loving grandmother of Robert (fianceé Leigh) Hennessy, Patrick (Jennifer) Hennessy, Dennis and Dana Hennessy and Kellie, Kathleen, Ronnie and Lois Townsend and great grand-mother of Gianna.
Veronica was born and raised in Philadelphia, before moving to Mays Landing in 1962. She was a waitress for the Celebrity Room in Philadelphia and the Jockey Club in Atlantic City. She owned and operated Hennessy's Corner in Mays Landing then spent her later years loving and caring for her grandchildren. She had an infectious, joyous smile, was a very loving, giving soul and was everyone's "Sweetheart".
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing on Wednesday, 6 to 9 P.M., at BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, 420 S. Main St., Williamstown NJ, and Thursday, 10 to 11 A.M., at St. Vincent de Paul R.C. Church, 114 Route 50, Mays Landing. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 A.M. Interment Atlantic County Veterans Memorial Cem., Estell Manor NJ. Condolences and memories may be shared online @
