I had the pleasure of meeting Vic & Judy through friends that brought me to party at the Flicks house in the Las Vegas area and sharing a few Bombay Sapphire & Tonics, it´s was probably about year 2000 and Vic played the Stratocaster and he still had the professional skill set...
The Flicks could not have been nicer, more pleasant and fun people, I will always remember them and value the time we shared together. RIP Vic, see you on the other side.

I was not aware how much you influenced the way I learned to play guitar until the Pawn Stars episode.
You did a lot. You will be missed.

I met Vic online at a Guitar Forum site. He and his wonderful wife, Judy, have stayed in touch regularly, for the past 25 years or so, and he and his wonderful wife, Judy, and I remained good friends. He had asked me to Edit and write the Forward to his book, "Vic Flick: Guitarman - From Bond to the Beatles, and Beyond" (the title of which I came up with). I remember our excitement when the book came to be sold on Amazon.
I was also responsible for getting Vic's "Bond" Guitar displayed in the R'n'R Hall of Fame Museum. Vic and I remained good friends over the past 25 years, speaking on the phone every couple of weeks; he even played with my former band (The Rip Chords) when we played in Las Vegas a long while back, and we met with a few times when Judy and Vic when we were in L.A. I miss Vic very much, as I'm sure we all do.
My love and deep condolences to Judy, and to his son, Kevin, with whom I only recently "met."

It was with great sadness that I learned of the passing of Vic and I send my sincere condolences to Judy and family.
I was fortunate to be a neighbour of Vic and Judy when they lived in Camborne Road, Morden, Surrey in the early '60s. I have fond memories of spending time with Judy and going on the occasional session with her to watch Vic playing up in London in the early days.
RIP Vic.
