Vicente "Ben" Perez Pereda, 86,
Vicente was born on March 2, 1931 and raised in Agana, Guam he passed away on July 12, 2017 at his home in Las Cruces, NM.
Vicente survived a Japanese concentration camp as a young boy during the Japanese invasion of Guam. He was a retired veteran of the U.S Air Force serving across the globe including Korea and Vietnam. He was attending school in Denver CO where he met his wife. He married Shirley Bresler on November 27, 1977 in Boulder, Colorado. He greatly enjoyed helping others and an active member of the Knights of Columbus. Ben also proudly stood by his wife's side as volunteer for the Red Cross in Colorado and New Mexico. Also enjoyed dancing with the Love of His Life. Ben was Deeply missed by his wife Shirley Pereda.
He was a loving Husband, Father & Friend
All his brothers & sisters have preceded him in death
Survivors include children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Who Miss Him Dearly.

Rosary will be held at St Genevieve's Catholic Church, on 14 September at 9:00 A.M. Their ashes will be laid to rest at Fort Bayard National Cemetery near Silver City on 14 September at 2:00 P.M.

Shirley May Pereda, 88
Shirley was born on April 28, 1930 and raised in Kansas City, MO. She passed away on July 8, 2018 at her home in Las Cruces, NM.
Her loving husband Ben Pereda, preceded her in death. He was deeply missed.
She was attending school to further her education in Denver, Colorado where she received her degree. While attending college she met her husband the Love of Her Life. Shirley married Ben on November 27, 1977, in Boulder, Colorado. She greatly enjoyed helping others as a volunteer for the Ladies Auxiliary, CASA, Knights of Columbus and Red Cross, total of over 50 years of volunteer services in Missouri, Colorado and New Mexico. Shirley also enjoyed playing the piano, ceramics, baking and was an amazing artist.
She was a loving Wife, Mother & Friend
Shirley was an only child.
Survivors include her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She will Be Deeply Missed (We Love You)

Our prayers and condolences goes to the families as they are your guardian angels!! They are finally together along with the rest of our love ones too!! May they rest in peace!! We truly love and miss you both, Uncle Ben and Auntie Shirley coming from the Peredas'in Guam!! Until we meet in heaven!!
