Vicki and I were best friends from the day we met at age 4 years old. We moved into the Pinecrest subdivision in East Lansing, MI and she was the first person to greet us with her mom Angie. We lived at each other´s houses and were part of each other´s families. In the 70 plus years of friendship we never argued or disagreed. We went to the same church. We had many friends in common and supported each other through thick and thin. I am so blessed she has always been such an important part of my life. Three years ago she came up to my cabin in the UP of Michigan for a week just the two of us. We visited Ishpeming where her mom was born and drove by all the family homes she remembered from her visits up there. My family was from Munising and Marquette so we always shared that common bond. We played piano duets as kids, we played hearts and canasta and slept outside many summer nights making grape koolaid with the garden hose. We loved popcorn and she made it most nights the old fashioned way with lots of butter. We both loved bridge and played together all our lives with various partners but ultimately we were joined later by Dean and my sister Jill for wonderful bridge weekends on Anna Maria Island where we lived and in Ft.Myers at their place. She played circles around me! I don´t really know how to live in a world without her grace, friendship, kindness, courage, humor, laughter and love. To say she will be missed will not cover it for me. A part of my heart is missing and went with her to heaven. I look forward to the day we will be reunited there. My deepest condolences to Dean, Angela, Eric and her grandchildren and sister Connie. She loved you all so dearly and I´m grateful for all the happiness she had in her life because of all of you. I miss her every day.

Go Green!!
Go White!!
Always supporting our Spartans.
Gregg and I have played Bridge with Vicki and Dean for 30 years. Sometimes even at a picnic table while camping.
Everyone brought 41 cents - 1 quarter, 1 dime,1 nickel, and 1 penny.
It was a HUGE battle for the quarters!
Vicki was always so positive, loving, and caring for all her family, friends, and neighbors.
We will miss you forever.
Love,
Barb and Gregg Zulauf
