Over 9 months have passed since Vicki went to Heaven and I still reach for my phone to call her. There is such a void in my life in Columbus OH without her. It's comforting to know that she's out of all her suffering and pain but I miss her so much - my sweet friend. She called me her sista from another mother - Bernie

Oh what wonderful memories I have of Vicki! As a young christian woman she took me under her wing. I met Vicki in a tiny church in Marion when we started going to her church. She had baby showers for my first two children. We moved to Toledo at the same time as Vicki and her family to be a part of the same church. Vicki always welcomed people into her beautiful home and showed them hospitality and the love of Christ. She gave wonderful godly adviseand encouragement, you could tell she really cared. I remember coming to her home one Christmas for a get together and as we left she handed out adorable little wood hand painted soldiers/nutcrackers she had made from wood clothes pins. I believe I still have mine somewhere. Vicki made you feel special in all she did and said. I will always remember her sweet smile and her strong faith in her God. She made a difference in my life and I will never forget her. I will see her again in Glory someday and I will tell her thank you once again.

Vicki, you will be in my memories from WCCC. What a great Sunday School Director. I loved your advice, teaching, and leadership. Everyone will miss you so much.

I got the privilege of working with Vicki many trips from from the 2000s and 2010s era. Vicki was one of the Columbus cadre of flight attendants that made that base during that era so enjoyable and memorable. I particularly enjoyed the sweets and home-made dishes she would often bring. She set the kindness bar pretty high! I can only hope to 1/2 as close. RIP Vicki. You showed us how to fight the good fight with kindness, joy, and perseverance.

Vicki was my grandma, and she was the most amazing woman in the world. I remember when we called her on Thursday, and she was really loopy from her medicine, and slurring her words, and she asked me a bunch of times, " have you watched the Olympics yet?" And I kept laughing because it was hard to understand her and she kept saying something else I couldn´t understand either, but it was so funny and I could not stop laughing. She always makes me smile. I miss her so much. Love you nana

While I am still grieving the loss of my dear friend Vicki, I reminisce our senior high school year while I was an exchange student. From the minute we met, Vicki took me under her wings and made me feel very much included in her group of friends and activities.
The twinkle in her eyes and her happy laughter will always stay with me.

I am very sorry for the loss of your mother Ulery kids . Your mom had a great impact on my life when I was young, in fact I lived with them for a while. Your mom was the one who encouraged me to go to cosmetology school and I did. On my first day or maybe my first week she made me cut Jimmy and Tammy's hair it was a nightmare, but it makes me laugh when I think about it. She just kept saying you can do it Kathi you can do it. She taught me a lot about my relationship with the Lord and how to pray and journal. She was quite an amazing woman. I remember when you guys lived in Toledo you still used to come back to Marion for haircuts. And thanks to her. I've had a great 45 year career doing hair. She definitely will be missed by the ones who loved her the most. She was very generous as well at least to me and now she's in the presence of her savior worshiping him in spirit and truth. Love you, Miss Vicki and thank you for everything you did for me.

Vicki was the first person who taught me how to cope with ADHD. She was relatable and her personality showed me how to accept neurodivergence and recognize how to help others. She shaped me at a young age into a successful professional.
She will be missed deeply.

Vicki and I worked together at the airline. She was a joy to fly with. Always a smile on her face. Always fun and laughter to be had while working with her. Joy was part of who she was. I will remember her beautiful spirit. I feel blessed to have known her.

Ms. Ulery (as she was to me back then) was and will always be my favorite teacher. She taught my 4th and 5th grade class at Christ the King in 1993-1995. She was so kind and generous and warm. She loved to laugh and always gave the best hugs. My home life was tumultuous at best, and her peaceful and loving nature help calm the storm in my young mind. I can still smell the tub of double bubble gum she kept for prizes or just because. She was so wonderful and loving, even now at the tender age of 40, I still have nothing but warm loving memories of her. My deepest heartfelt condolences to her family and friends. She will be terribly terribly missed. But now she is dancing with the angels and laughing in his glory. Peace be to you.

Vicki holds a sweet spot in my heart. She´s my cousin and we share several memories from our childhood. She rarely called me by name. It was either "Cuz" or "Bon". I loved her for her beauty - both inside and out; her faith; her great laugh; and her adventurous spirit. Her earthly battle is through, and she´ll be greatly missed by her friends and family. Bet she´s loving everything about heaven, though!

There is one night with Vicki I would never forget. She was my grandma. When my three siblings and I were younger, there was one night when our house was quieting down for the evening until we heard a really loud honk outside. We ran down the stairs and saw Vicki and Ed standing outside in front of a fire truck! For four young kids it was really exciting. We all got to climb in and Vicki and Ed took us to dinner in the fire truck. Every kid´s dream!
Even if it wasn´t with a loud fire engine honk, Vicki made sure to let people know she was thinking about them.
