Dr. Eason was one of my daughters professors during her undergraduate time at Duke. She was a kind and gracious adviser and trusted mentor helping Tatiana to navigate her desire to attend Vet School. I am heartbroken to hear that Dr. Eason has passed on. I hope her family knows just how much she touched her students lives. On, May 23, our daughter Tatiana Henry will graduate from Cummings School of Veterinarian Medicine. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Eason and thank her before Tatiana graduated from Duke. Rest easy.

Dr. Eason was my pre-veterinary advisor throughout my time in college. She was a wonderful mentor and person, and I am so grateful that I got the chance to know and learn from her. I will never forget her and her sincere kindness and support. Rest in peace.

I am proud to say that Vickie was my first cousin twice removed--my mother's first cousin's daughter. She was a wonderful Vet. and a sweeter person you could not hope to meet. The animals will miss her, too. The animal hospital she opened in 1982, St Francis, is still going strong, and I still take my pets there. RIP Vickie.
