Antonio Carlos Maciel

Antonio Maciel was born on November 16, 1936 in Chavinda, Michoacan, Mexico. He was born to humble parents, Antonio and Catalina and had 6 siblings, consisting of 5 sisters and one brother. In 1957 he met and married his beautiful wife, Antonia, and moved to Mexicali where he served proudly as a Police Officer. During his time in Mexicali, he and Antonia also started a family with their first daughter Martha. They then had their second baby girl, Catalina with their third daughter, Maria, not far behind. The first three little girls were followed by two additional daughters, Margarita and Leticia. After five daughters, the family moved to California, where Antonio worked hard as a day laborer in the produce fields in the central parts of the state. After moving to the states, the family welcomed a son, Tony. Twins Ramon and Ramona were also born while living in Central California. Antonio decided to move the family south, to Long Beach where their family continued to grow with the additions of daughter Olga and their last daughter, Georgina. Antonio worked as a truck driver for many years and after residing in long beach for over two decades, he and Antonia moved to Lakewood, where Antonio lived out the remainder of his days with us before going to be with The Lord. Antonio is survived by his loving wife Antonia, 10 children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will never be forgotten and will live on in all of our hearts and cherished memories until we meet again. We love you apa.
