When Victor and Edith were in our Sun City UCC church, you could always count on their smiling faces to greet us as we came to church. It isn't at all surprising that their farewell gift to us, before returning to Minnesota, was to treat the entire congregation to an organ concert, by our church organist. I will never forget all the kindnesses he did for one of our beloved retired ministers--always, in everything he did, it was in love and service.

I remember Vic from our annual 4th of July picnics when I was a child. He always had a twinkle in his eye and a smile on his face. the last time I saw Vic and Edie was in the early '80s in Sun City, AZ. They were so engaging and gave retirement an active and vital face. What a wonderful legacy of living they leave behind.

God Bless you in this time of loss.

I'm one of Kirk's friends from Washburn. I knew your dad in Mpls, then again in Sun City where my folks also retired.

My dad, too, would have loved email and the Internet. We have tons of folks in their 80s (& 90s) coming in to my library here (near Phila) and learning the Internet for the first time. It's a great moment to see technology click w/ seniors.

God bless you all at this tough time. --Linda
