Dottie and Family,

I'm so sorry to learn of Vic's passing. I know that at MITRE he gave his all to the people around him and those whom he was leading. We were privileged to have him in our lives. So many considered him a friend and mentor.

Nina joins me in this expression of sadness and wishing you all well at this difficult period. May you be comforted by the memories of better times-- and of a man whose vibrant, searching and kind spirit touched many.

A gentleman and a gentle man. No one ever had anything bad to say about Victor. It was my pleasure to meet him, get to know him, play golf with him, and now I mourn his loss. Dottie, our hearts go out to you.

Just after Vic was named CEO at MITRE he was meeting with Jim Schlesinger up in his office in the old MITRE building in McLean.

I was up on the same floor, at a meeting, having recently returned to work after my wife's passing in an auto road rage incident.

I'd never met Vic, but he broke off his conversation with Dr. Schlesinger to come over and see how I was doing. That simple act defined the man -- he was extraordinarily compassionate. I was glad to be his friend.

RIP Vic, you will be missed.

Dottie -- Claudia and I were very sad when we heard the news. At work, Vic was a kind and generous mentor to me. He was a creative and innovative thinker who challenged all of us to be better and do better. He was a gracious leader and friend. Our lives are enhanced by his contributions and memory. Please accept our deepest condolences to the family.

My condolences to Vic's family. I very much enjoyed knowing and working with Vic over the years. In our younger days we travelled together and then later we solved some heady problems when he was the President of MITRE. RIP my friend.

Dotti and family-

We are all so saddened to hear about Vic. I had great pleasure of many conversations with Vic and loved to hear his insights. He was a kind gentleman, fabulous guy and true to his word.

As our family begins to make our own great memories in the DeMarines' Hunt Road home, we are thankful and grateful to both Dotti and Vic. You will always have a special place in our hearts and forever in our thoughts. We will be thinking of you as we golf and continue to work at playing tennis in your back yard. Thank you for everything. RIP Vic.

So sad to hear of Vic's passing. I worked with him for many years, and he was unstintingly gracious and appreciative. A true gentleman and a lovely man to work for.

Vic,
I will miss you dearly. You've touched so many lives in a thoughtful and caring manner. You were a great leader, husband, father, grandfather, mentor, friend, golfer and so much more.

I lost my father earlier this year and this feels very much the same. I feel so privileged to have known you and to call you my beloved friend. Words cannot express my sadness and sense of loss. You will be forever in my thoughts and prayers.

Your friend forever, Al

So sad to hear of Vic's passing. He was such a nice person and had such a huge influence on my life. He hired me at MITRE (only my 2nd job as an adult) and attended by retirement 31 years later. He also influenced many of my decisions within MITRE (site assignments, internal transfers, returning to Bedford). He also played a key role in what I would be doing after I retired (enabling a consulting work opportunity that is still going strong). He truly was a remarkable person and will be missed very much.

Seems like we just played golf together a few weeks ago, Vic?? I'm so, so sorry for you and your family. You brought so much to so many lives and had so much more living to do. Following our many conversations, I always felt I came away a bit sharper, a lot wiser and a large measure more noble than when we started. I'm devastated to lose our friendship but that loss is nothing compared with your family's loss. My condolences to you all.

RIP Pal,

Our sincere and deepest condolences to the family on the loss of your loved one. Please know those we love remain with us for love itself lives on, and cherished memories never fade because a loved one's gone. Those we love can never be more than a thought apart, for as long as there is memory, they'll live on in the heart. May the God of comfort sustain you during your grieving process

Great guy; was a real asset to MITRE Corp. and U.S. National interests and security.

Fine example of success thru hard work; from humble beginnings, AF Lt., and work thru the Corp. to become CEO.

Had a great memory going back to late 70s.

Will always be endeared in my heart. God love you Vic.
