My heart and prayers goes out to the Leal family. I remember in school Dr. Leal told us how he had grew up poor, but knew that one day he would do better and be more successful in life. I would look out of the window in class and hope that I could be as great of a person as Dr. Leal. Of all of my teachers throughout my education, Dr. Leal has had the greatest impact and is a constant reminder that we can become anything we want to be in life.

Dear Nilsa,

My deepest condolences to you and the entire Leal family. I have so many memories of you and Mr. Leal and Lyzette. The many evenings my sister Vicky and I spent in your home, for the holidays and babysitting Lyzette, and the good food you would cook us for dinner. Oh my...where has the time gone! My prayers and thoughts are with you during this time. His memory will always be with me.
God Bless You, Sincerely,

Dear Mrs. Leal and Family,

I just learned of your loss, and I just wanted to let you know that I am praying for you all.
I have such fond memories of Dr. Leal beginning over forty years ago when I was in college and working at Carrie Gosch as a clerical aide to years later when he became my attorney.
He was a wonderful person, always kind, pleasant, and a perfect gentleman. He touched many lives in a positive way.

May God Bless & Comfort You All
Love,

To the Leal Family,
Our deepest sympathy in the loss of Dr. Leal. He was an awesome gentleman whom I had the pleasure of working with. He and his wife have been friends of ours, even though we lost touch, we have held them in our hearts. May you be comforted by the fond memories of his presence in your lives and may you always know that he established good friendships along the way. God Bless the entire family.

To the family of Dr. Leal,
May the Lord comfort you and be with you.
Mr. Leal (now Dr. Leal) was my teacher at Carrie Gosch Elementary. He was a great teacher. I have fond memories of sitting in his classroom and and how protective he was of the girls in his classes. Rest in Peace.

Mr. Leal (now Dr. Leal) was my Spelling teacher at Carrie Gosch School in 4th thru 6th grades in the the mid-1960's. He coached me for the Spelling Bee & taught us all the adverbs in alphabetical order by heart, which we all can recite 49 years later!!! He was the BEST!! We, the students at Carrie Gosch will miss him for a very long time. Rest in peace, my dear teacher & fellow lawyer.....My mother & I extend our sympathies to the family.

Daddy, I miss you so much. Holden misses Papa but Hunter is wondering why we are all sad when you are now in a better place. They are keeping us sane during this hard time. IU plays Kentucky tonight so maybe now that you're there...you know you could "influence" things. I wish you were here so we could laugh together again. I love you!
