What a great man Vic was. He was such a great mentor and leader. He inspired me as a Trooper Cadet, Trooper, Sergeant and Lieutenant.
The world lost a great leader, caring man who everyone loved. Rest in peace brother.

He was a great father-in-law to me and a great grandpa to all his grandkids and my fondest memory of him was when I first met him and he asked me to give him a hug and he welcome me to family he was loved by all.

Vic Painter or Officer Painter as us kids and adults new him. We lived in South Everett on Colleen Drive now known as 6th Ave. W. all knew Officer Painter who lived just down the road on 112th SW or Known as Stock show Rd then. My mother Evelyn Weaver was in a car accident 4th of July Weekend 1965 hurt pretty bad. Officer Painter kept any notification out of the paper until my brother Mike Weaver came home from camping. Thank you for being a strong influence for us growing up. Sorry to hear of your passing.
