Victor Pomawski Obituary
Victor Charles Pomawski Sr, age 77 of Milford, beloved husband of Maryann Giannattasio Pomawski for over 55 years, died on Sunday, August 23. Victor was born in East Lyme on August 4, 1938. He was a U. S. Air Force veteran. Victor was retired from Honeywell. He coached softball in Milford for many years. Survivors include his children: Dawn Redding (James) of Guilford, Victor Pomawski Jr., Ann Marie Pomawski and John Pomawski (Lalida) all of Milford, six grandchildren; Christine Miller (Josh) and James Redding III, Elizabeth and Michael Pomawski and Hunter and Areeya Bella Pomawski. Victor loved his grandchildren unconditionally and they will forever miss "Papa.". Friends and family may call on Thursday from 5:00PM-8:00PM in The Gregory F Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford. Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral service on Friday, Aug. 28 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with interment will follow in Kings Highway Cemetery, Milford. So sorry to hear of Vic's passing. I used to work with Vic in the Quality Dept. at AVCO/Textron. Vic always came in with a smile on his face and had a great laugh.
