Victor Purcell Obituary
Born in Jackson, Mississippi to Ernest and Nellie Purcell.
Victor served in the US Navy from 1963-1967. After serving in the US Navy, Victor relocated to Junction City, Oregon where he met his wife Donna. They were married for 54 years. Victor is remembered by many friends and family for his generosity and love of fishing and cooking.
Victor was preceded in death by both parents, a brother Ernest and two sisters, Maryann and Linda.
Victor is survived by his wife, Donna, and son, Anthony, daughter Nicole and son-in-law Eric, and two granddaughters, Alayna and Josie and two sisters, Sharon and Theresa.
A celebration of life will be held by family on October 15th from 1:00pm-4:00pm at Alton Baker Park.

I was a 17 year old kid, my first "real" job at Airweld in Glenwood, and I worked on the back dock with Vic, who treated me great and encouraged me when I inevitably messed up. I remember when my older brother said "He's a good kid, he's really smart", Vic said " yeah, well,smart guys blow up too!". He kept me in line and was kind the whole time.
