I WAS HIS BEST MAN @ HIS WEDDING, AS WELL AS HE WAS LATER @ MY WEDDING.
WE MET @ VILLANOVA FROM '53 -'57, LATER JOIN THE SAME ACCOUNTING FIRM FOR A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME, WHEN I LEFT TO WORK FOR THE U.S TREAURY IN WILM. DEL.IN 1965. OUR YOUNG FAMILIES HAD MANY GET TO-GETHERS IN THE EARLY '60'S. LAST HAD CONTACT WITH VICTOR IN LATE 1970-EARLY '80'S, HE WAS A GREAT FRIEND AND GOT ME THRU SOME ROUGH TIMES. ALWAYS OPTIMISTIC, JOYFUL AND WOULD GO OUT OF HIS WAY TO HELP SOMEONE. HE LOVED HIS ITALIAN FOOD AND TOLD ME HIS MOTHER WOULD MAKE PIZZA AND PASTA FOR BREAKFAST FOR HIM OCCASIONALLY. REGRET THAT WE LOST CONTACT WITH EACH OTHER , DUE TO OUR BUSY OCCUPATIONS, AND LIVING IN DIFFERENT STATES
MY CONDOLENCES TO HIS FAMILY, AND I WILL HAVE A MASS SAID FOR
HIM HERE IN NJ.

Just happened to think of Victor today and looked him up on line. Knew him 20 years and always treated me fairly. A good decent landlord.

Vic, I love you and miss you more than words can say. You may not have changed my diapers when I was a baby but you took my hand and guided me through life and helped make me the strong woman I am today. I am going to miss our long conversations, your advice, your smile and your sense of humor. You always found a way to make me laugh even in the worst of times. I will forever treasure the memories. I am so proud to call you my dad. You are my Angel and will forever be in my heart. Now you can play your neverending rummy tournaments. I hope you always get the ACES. Just remember it's Rummy... not Gin Rummy. Please give Mom a kiss from me. Love you Always! Mary Lee
