To Muff, Francie and all the Z's, so sorry but was not aware your Dad passed. Just a fabulous human being and always such a pleasure to be with as was your Mom. Best, Mark.

Fond memories playing touch football in my youth, and admiring what a true family man he always was. He will be missed by so many. R.I.P.

Vic & Frannie we’re there for me in 1970 when I broke my leg skiing at Lake Placid. My wife Sheila & I had met them thanks to Tom & Rosie Hardart. Their kindness has lived with me due to that experience. Vic & Tom were confidants and great friends. Sheila and I also stayed connected to them via the Order of Malta. Their Catholicism was a beautiful example to us as we raised our family. Rosie & Sheila were sisters. Vic & Frannie’s legacy lives within their exemplary family. God bless each of them.

Muffin, we would like to express our deepest sympathy to you and your family for the loss of your Dad.
All who know him had their own special experience with him. Susan and I knew your Dad as a well polished ,genteel and affable soul . His visits to us over time became a source of humor, laughter and singing. The mood of our store was changed with each visit . Your Dad would arrive with song on his lips and Susan who knew all the songs also, would break into a cabaret session. I would play a song or two from Oklahoma or The Music Man on my phone, and the two for them would sing and have a grand old time. We will greatly miss our sessions with your Dad . But we were greatly enriched by his presence and kind nature. Again we morn with you and your family over the loss of you Dad .

Vic served on the Altman Foundation board for several years and also provided valuable investment management services. As an Altman trustee and son-in-law of one of his close friends, Jack Burke, I got to know Vic in the 1990’s. I admired him greatly. The combination of his soft spoken and self-effacing manner and strong opinions set him apart from many on Wall Street. We talked often about windsurfing, which I was addicted to, but never managed to sail together despite many vows to do so. In many ways Vic was one of a kind, and I will miss him. My wife Kate and I extend our deepest sympathy to the Zaminsky family.

My show tunes singing partner has left us and I will miss Mr. Ziminsky "More Than You Know". My condolences to Muffin and everyone else that this sweet man has touched throughout his life. You never know! Perhaps Mr. Ziminsky has found my Mother in Heaven and is dancing and singing with her as we speak?

On this powdery snow day I am reminded of Mr Z laughing and smiling and waving whilst skiing past our house to meet up with grandkids for a skate on the pond.
