Missing Vida almost a month after her passing..it was my absolute privilege to care for her at the end of her life. My efforts were minimal in contrast to the constant love, attention and care given by her devoted family-truly a remarkable group. (special kudos to my medical assistant Andrew!). Vida was a lovely and spirited woman who was a pleasure to visit. I will always cherish the time spent with her, and am grateful I was able to get to know her better.

Please accept Danijel, Tomas and my condolences on the passing of your mom. She and Tony opened their home to us on Hanover, and continued to keep in touch and visit after we moved out. She was kind and loving, and always remembered details of our lives. We will keep her in our prayers.

There are no words to tell you how sorry we are. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
This quote really struck me when I read the obituary and especially when we lost my father:
"Everyone must leave something behind when he dies, my grandfather said. A child or a book or a painting or a house or a wall built or shoes made. Or a garden planted. Something your hand touched in some way so your soul has somewhere to go when you die, and when people look at that tree or flower you planted, you're there."
It looks like you have many cherished memories of her and she will always be with you.
Remembering your wonderful mother and Nana and wishing you comfort.

Vida & Anthony were our next door neighbors in Whitby ,they were the best of neighbors. Sorry to hear this sad news. I last met Vida in Whitby
outside the Dundas clinic: i gave her a big hug & wished her well.
