Vincent P. Baldasaro Sr.

To the Baldasaro family:

I never had the pleasure of having Mr. Baldasaro as a teacher during my four years at NAHS. However, I did have him during his years as a substitute.

He was a wonderful family, who was respected and loved by my fellow students. We will miss him.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.

To all of Mr. Baldasaro's family:
I was a member of the Class of 97, Vinny was THE ONE teacher who absolutely changed my life. Dedicating that 1997 yearbook to him was a highlight of my times at NAHS. When I look back and remember what a blast high school was, Mr. Baldasaro's name usually comes up in those thoughts. He was so passionate about what he was doing, teaching us about the very things he loved and it showed. I am sorry I missed the services, and that is something that will stay with me forever. So Vinny, I hope you busted through the gates of Heaven like you busted through the doors for class!!! I will always remember you, for it was you who changed my life. With love,

To Gerry and the family.Im very sorry to hear of your loss.Vinny was my favorite teacher in high school.he made history come alive. Model Senate was a ball.He enjoyed being my "Al Haig" to my presidency of my senior year.Even after high school the dinners and friendship over the house was something to be cherished.We will miss him but heaven is louder and better for getting him

Sympathy to the Baldasaro Family - Vinnie was a man who always had a smile and a caring nature and had humor, passion and dedication to his family, students and community. He guided me through many tough town decisions and will be missed. I send my condolences to you all. A wonderful man I was honored to know.

My husband had Vinny his first year of teaching and my son had him his last year. He said after having both Quinn's he had to retire.

I live in Maine now and have just heard of his passing. Mr. Baldasaro was a great teacher. He is definitely in most of my greatest moments in school in N. Attleboro. He made learning fun and educational at the same time! My prayers are with his family!

To Mr. Baldasaro's family -

I was privileged to be a student in some of his classes at NAHS, but more memorably, as a member of the "College Bowl" quiz team that competed at other high schools in Massachusetts. I can still recall clearly some of our van trips to other schools.

I will always recall Mr. Baldasaro's passion with which he approached teaching - not just classroom material, but life lessons as well.

My sympathies to you at the loss of your loved one - may you find peace in your memories of time spent with him. Mr. Baldasaro was a man that will be remembered by many!

To the family:

I will always treasure my many warm memories of time spent with Vinny. I had the "Vinny experience" at many parties, dinners, high school concerts, and even a car ride home from Maine, when I happened to need to come home the same day that Gerry and Vinny did. That was quite the fun car ride. As many others can relate, I felt and still feel blessed to be welcomed by this family almost as if I am a part of it all. He was the grandfather to my best friend, Shayna, and in a way I felt like he was a grandfather to me as well. He welcomed me into his family and I never felt like an outsider. My last time seeing Vinny is one visit that I will never forget. I went over his house for dinner with Shayna and her family. Usually people gather around the kitchen, but instead we were all gathering around Vinny in his chair. He was still the centerpiece, even though he was far from his lively self. On my way out the door that night he said his last words to me. They were "I love you." I am so thankful to have been a part of his life and more importantly, I am thankful to have him be a part of my life. I love you too, Grandpa Vinny.

My heart is with you and the rest of the family at this sad time. I know that soon the tears will be replaced with laughter as Vin would want. He was a man who found his way into thousands of hearts in so many ways. He will remain alive in my heart, and many others forever. I regret that I can't be with you in person, but I am and will be in spirit and heart. While this time is sad, I thank Vin and all of you for some of the best memories one could have. My love to you all.

I am sorry to hear about your loss. I remember Vinnie performing as "Elvis" when I was a kid. He always made me laugh. He was quite the entertainer.

A great teacher and an all around great person. Many of us were lucky enough to have him as a teacher and as a friend. His stories, smile, and laughter will not be forgotten. I miss his updates and e-mails about the football pool. It was always funny how Vinny would point out how someone had messed up their picks, so much so that you didn't mind if you were the subject of his good natured ribbing. We'll all miss Vinny B very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I am very sorry for your loss. I really enjoyed the time I spent with Vinny. I enjoyed his humor, intellect, and passion. I really admired this man who was never afraid to speak his mind.

Heaven just got a lot funnier and I hope that he is now teaching the Irish up there a lesson on cooking.

Pleas accept my heartfelt sympathies in the loss of your beloved Vinnie. I'm just so very sorry I didn't get over to see him but please know I prayed for him and you and had you in my thoughts constantly. I know he put up a good and hard fight and you can be proud of that. Terri called me last night (Saturday) and left the message that he had passed. He will be watching over all of you.
Its important to remember all the fun times and talk about them.
