Vincent J. Benedetti

I worked with Vince in some pretty crazy situations. He never lost his cool, never showed anger. On one job I smacked up his car. His response was "try to keep the damage down to a couple hundred dollars." He delivered that line totally deadpan and defused all the pressure. Vince was a generous man and moved from being my employer to being my friend. I'll miss shooting clays with him. I'll miss the completely silly comedy we'd break into near the end of a 16 hour workday. I'll miss his always enthusiastic greeting, as if I were back from a long trek, when actually we had been together just a day earlier. Rest easy Vince. We'll take it from here.

Vinnie, you were a great friend with a big heart. I will miss you. Rest in peace, my friend.

Vinnie, while you were on this plane, you were a complete joy to know. You were loving, and funny, and genuine, and I will miss seeing you around these parts. :) Thank you so much for your wonderful spirit and for everything you have done for Gerard. You are loved.
