I just heard of his passing. He was a friend of my father and he married Michael and I 24 years ago Monday He made our wedding perfect.

Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Judge Ragosta. I had the pleasure of practicing many years before him . He was always fair and reasonable. He will b sorely missed. May perpetual light shine upon him

My sincere condolences on the passing of Judge Ragosta.
While serving on the City Council, I had the pleasure of voting for him as a member of the Providence Board of Licenses. He served with distinction and was a consummate gentleman at all times. He went on to become a highly respected member of the RI Superior Court.
May he rest in peace.

He was always so kind to me, and it was always a pleasure to appear before him. It was also a pleasure when he would pass by me, and say hi Billy !!! May the four winds blow him safely home.

So sorry for your loss of a good man. I was glad to have known and worked with. Also sorry for being unable to attend the services.

Sad in the passing of a Great Man from the Greatest Generation. My Uncle Vinny was like a second father, and was an inspiration and guide to me as I waded into a legal career over 40 years ago. I am glad that I had the chance to say goodbye to him last week. Much love and respect to the Ragosta family, and a special emotion for my beloved Auntie Carmela.

Nancy and I offer our most sincere condolences on the Judge's passing. Clearly he was, and remains, a remarkable man, husband, father, veteran and jurist. In so many ways the Judge epitimized the definition of The Greatest Generation.

In addition to his achievements both personally and professionally, he enjoyed life and living. I clearly remember attending a charitable event during which the Judge just could not stay off the dance floor - either with Mrs. Ragosta or my wife.

Aside from being a historically significant member of the bench, he was above all a wonderful father who, with the able assistance of Mr. Ragosta, sheparded his family with solid advice, well-grounded guidance and genuine love. We are thrilled and complimented to count Vin, Paul, Dominic, Peter and their families among our closest friends.

We understand and share your grief. We hope you each find comfort in the wonderful memories of your husband, dad and grandfather.
