GAITHERBURG, MD — Vincenza C. (Cannariato) Lottero, of Gaitherburg died Saturday, October 13, 2007. She was the loving wife of the late Louis Lottero.

Born in Boston, she lived in Walpole and Mattapoisett for many years.

Mrs. Lottero was formerly employed by the Sharon Cooperative Bank for many years until her retirement.

She was a member of the Plum Tree Shakers Women's Investment Club. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Robert J. Lottero (Cheri) and Janet M. Lottero (Gary Hayward); her grandchildren, Sharyn Lottero-Souza (Edilson), James Lottero (Thanh), Daniel Lottero (Noo), Mark Lottero (Denise), Pamela Lottero-Perdue (Kevin), and Victoria Hayward; her great-grandchildren, Sunita, Selena, and Gwenyth Lottero, Russell and William Perdue, and Philip and Lily Souza; and many friends and relatives.

She was the mother of the late Richard E. Lottero, and sister of the late Lawrence Cannariato.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM in St. Anthony's Church. Burial will follow in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Road, Route 6, Mattapoisett. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Maryknoll Lay Missioners, Companions in Mission, P.O. Box 307, Maryknoll, NY 10545-0307.
