Dear Felicia and Luca,
We just heard this weekend about the passing of your beloved father and grandfather. WE were saddened to hear this news. He was a breath of fresh air in the mornings and full of energy as he walked Luca to school. I enjoyed listening to his music (he had given me a CD) and hearing about his enjoyment about performing. It is with shock that I learned of Vincent's passing and I wish to extend my deepest sympathies to his family. I met Vincent almost 20 years ago when I arrived in Montreal and was his client ever since. I will deeply miss our discussions and esspresso sharing.He represented for me la joie de vivre and his shows with Gino Quilico were a pleasure to listen too.

Vincent, cher ami et confident bienveillant.
Le jour ou je suis tombé par hasard sur toi dans ton salon, je cherchais un coupe de cheveux, j'y ai trouvé un ami attentionné, une oreille attentive et un sage conseiller autant pour moi que pour ma famille. Depuis 20 ans déjà je préfère avoir les cheveux long plutôt que de manquer une occasion d'aller m'asseoir chez toi un petit moment.
J'ai mémoire des moments que tu consacrais à mes enfants qui t'ont tant aimé, le temps que tu prenais pour leur faire essayer tes trompettes, la douceur de tes mots; Vincent, comme tu nous manqueras.
Depuis la grande tristesse du départ de Pina, tu t'était accroché à l'amour que tu as pour ta famille, je t'avais regardé avec admiration, ton courage fut un exemple, tu continuais à offrir ton sourire et ta douceur.
Nos cafés que tu prenais plaisir à épicer faisait de ton salon un endroit ou je me sentais chez moi même si depuis plus de dix ans maintenant je n'habite plus ce quartier je me faisais plaisir en traversant le Saint Laurent pour te rejoindre une heure ou deux prétextant une coupe de cheveux mais c'était tellement plus.
Cher ami je me souviens aussi de ton support quand, dans ma vie, la tempête est venue, tes conseils m'ont aussi donné du courage. Ton histoire, celle de ton arrivée ici, ton travail, tes amis et ta famille ainsi que ta musique que tu me racontais font que je comprend maintenant combien tu as mis de la passion dans tout ce que tu as fais, je tenterai de suivre ton exemple.
Dans ma vie je n'ai pas croisé deux personnes comme toi, tu es unique et ton départ crée un vide mais le souvenir que j'ai de toi m'encourage à continuer de suivre tes conseils. À l'avenir quand je passerai sur le coin de Côte Sainte Catherine et Côte des Neiges, je continuerai de penser que je passe à coté de chez toi, je me rappellerai de la plus belle leçon que tu m'as donné, celle d'offrir mon sourire autour de moi car c'est la plus belle chose à donner au monde qui nous entoure.
Merci Maestro, je sais qu'il y aura une belle musique à ton arrivée ce soir au Paradis

My sincere and profound condolences to the Guzzo family. I had been a client of Vincent from almost the beginning. It was never "I'm going for a haircut" - It was always "I'm going to see Vincent". He became a friend I looked forward to seeing. We would chat, drink coffee, sometimes he brought out his horn and played classics, occassionally a light piece. He sometimes brought out his computer to play me musicians he was fond of. When he became involved with the cancer centre, I saw the maestro at work in his other life. I am so profoundly sad at his passing, But he is there all in the (better) photos in my adult life and always will be. 43 years is a long relationship and I will miss him.

Graham and I were shocked and deeply saddened to learn about Vincent`s passing. I have been a client for over 30 years, seeing him every two weeks. He was such a kind and caring man and I enjoyed listening to his incredible boyhood stories. He had a wonderful sense of humour and would on occasion perform his amazing magic card tricks.
He always made you feel like family and I feel that I have lost a very dear friend.
Our thoughts are with the family and we send our deepest condolences.

I cannot stop the tears. I cannot accept that I will no longer see him. This man was so very special. I remember his saying to me that he was there not for the money but because he loved his work and his customers depended on him, and that they were like family. I knew him over 34 years and to suddenly not have him in the world is too much to bear. I want to express my heartfelt condolences to his beloved family. Oh, how deeply he will be missed. His hearty laugh, his corny jokes, his warm smile, his kindness to me --these will always be remembered.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Vincenzo's passing. Although we have not seen each other for many years, I have fond memories of a our friendship and times going back to the Consolata choir. He will be missed by many near and far. My deepest condolences to the family.

To the Guzzo family, that I have known and loved my whole life, I can't begin to express my sadness at your loss. I feel blessed to have had such a wonderful person in my life. My deepest condolences to the Guzzo family. I was a client of Vince's and Pina's for over 30 years and also saw him frequently at the wellness center.
