Viola M. DiColo

Viola M. (Amadio) DiColo TRENTON- Viola M. (Amadio) DiColo, 94, of Trenton, entered into God's Care Thursday in the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton Township, NJ. Born in Groveville, Mrs. DiColo was a lifelong area resident. She was formerly employed with the State of N.J., Department of Labor, before her retirement. Vi, as she was known by her family and friends, was an active member of Our Lady of the Angels Parish-St. Joachim's Church, belonging to the Sanctuary Guild and Senior Citizens Club, and was a member of Societa Romana Femminele Di M.S., Trenton. Predeceased by her parents, Sabatino and Emma (Scartocci) Amadio, her brother, Idolo "Tubby" Amodio, her husband, Silvo "Pat" DiColo, and her daughter, Annette Santo, she is survived by her loving sister, Emma Amadio; two grandchildren, Cynthia Kearns and husband Cliff and Joseph Santo, III; one sister-in-law, Rose Amodio; three cherished great-grandchildren, Justin, Tyler and Gianna; also survived by several nieces, nephews and many cousins. The funeral will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday from the Chambers D'Errico and Correnti Funeral Home, 825 Chambers St., Trenton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady Of The Angels-St. Joachim's Church, 20-56 Butler St., Trenton. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hamilton. Calling hours will be Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Our Lady of the Angels Parish Community, 21-23 Bayard St., Trenton.
