Dearest Fred and the Bast Family,

I just wanted to write to let you know that Warren and I are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers.

It's hard to believe that it is almost a year since Vi's passing - words cannot express how deeply saddened we still are for your loss - Vi was such an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

She was much loved and is fondly remembered by so many.

Dear Fred and your family; Although we have been away from Upland Drive for many years now, we have always kept in touch with the neighbours and were so saddened to hear of Vi's passing. We just want you to know how much we sympathize with you in the great loss you have suffered.

I just wanted to send my sincerest sympathy on the passing of your beloved wife, mother and grandmother - Vi.

I have many happy memories of spending time with Vi both in Regina (when we visited Sandra and Trevor in the early 90's) and when she and Fred visited out here on the coast in Victoria, BC.

Vi was a graceful, kind person, who always made me feel welcome - I also loved her home cooking - she spoiled us when we visited her and Fred in Regina and I remember several delicious meals she prepared for the "Willbond" family when she was here visiting in Victoria.

I am so very sorry for your loss - there isn't words to express how truly sorry we are for this loss.

We want you all to know that Warren, Shaelyn, William and I are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

I know Vi will be deeply missed - she was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.

She will not be forgotten and she will live on and shine brightly through the lives of her children and her grandchildren.
