Dearest Jann Family,
Stuart,I was so sorry to hear that your Mother died. She died on my Father's 87th birthday, then as you are aware, he died on March 28th.
I wanted to personally that you for coming to my Father's funeral. I looked for you after the service but, didn't see you. Thank you for being there. It touched me more than you can realize.
I am sure your Mother was very proud to have raised a son as loving as you. I know she will be missed and I hope you find comfort in all of your wonderful memories of her.
Love, Janet

Dear Stuart, Doug and family,
I saw your mother in September 2007 at Bayside Landing. She looked so vibrant, healthy and happy. May good memories always keep her in your heart.

Jann Family
Our deepest sympathy are with you at this time in the loss of your mother Vi. She was such a wonderful lady. She and your father are now together again. They both were great people. I enjoyed working with Earl at Brown-Mahin. Vi always had a smile and a kind word for everybody. They are both in our prayers, as the rest of their family. Vi and Earl will always be remembered fondly.

Our deepest condolences to Stuart, Doug and family. Vi was an outstanding member of the community as was her late husband, Earl. Being originally from Marysville, how well I remember Vi's late brothers, Judge Sam (Esther), Ernie, and Al. We will miss them all.

Dear Family
Vi was one of the sweetest women I ever met. Her friendship has been of the greatest value to my Uncle Dino. And not only to him, but to me as well. She really added to my enjoyment when I went to Stockton to visit. She could brighten up any room with her smile. She will be sorely missed. Meeting Doug, the fine man who is her son, furthered my knowledge that she was a wonderful mother too.
In deepest sympathy,
Lanny Giorgi

Dear Family,
I will forever treasure all of the holidays we spent together over the years-our big, goofy combined family. And Vi, so quiet and elegant...and so wonderfully mischievous. One little nod of her head and a quick wink meant Doug wasn't looking so grab her that piece of See's candy NOW. Of course we usually got caught, and during our gentle reminder from Doug about the evils of chocolate, Vi would sit there with the most innocent look, nodding in agreement with Doug, reminding me she wasn't allowed to have chocolate. I'd respond with, "oh, I didn't know" - satisfied we'd be good, Doug would go into the kitchen and Vi would elbow me, point to the piece she'd want, I'd grab it, she'd pop it in her mouth...and we would giggle our heads off! Vi was a sweet, beautiful soul and I am going to miss her. I know Mom was there to welcome her home and the two of them are now eating their beloved See's candy, guilt free. We mourn the loss of our beloved mothers, who both left us the sweetest memories to cherish and comfort us for the rest of our lives. We were lucky, we had the best, who loved us and taught us the joys of love, laughter and family. Love to you Doug and Mia and Zak and the rest of the family.
