Lord please pick a bunch for me,
Place them in my Mother’s arms
and tell her they’re from me.
Tell her I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile.
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day,
but there’s an ache within my heart
that will never go away.

I will always remember Vi's kindness and that mischevious laugh that was contagious to anyone she came into contact with. I remember her so vividly, sitting in her favourite chair and shouting a greeting to you as you walked in the door. It always brightened my day. "Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pour through and shine down upon us, to let us know they are happy". Author unknown.

I worked as a pack boy along side Vi @ Steinberg's - she never let us get away with anything! I remember a great lady with a fun sense of humor. My condolences to the Pakenham family.
